In 2018, I was diagnosed with Hepatitis B. My viral load was high, liver enzymes were elevated and the doctor told me it was chronic. I felt scared, overwhelmed and unsure what the future held. Today, my blood tests show something remarkable: I am clear. HBsAg negative, undetectable viral load, normal liver function. No medication. No hospital stays. Just one simple routine I stuck with:  twice a week, about 20 minutes per session, for about 1 year. This is my short story. I’m sharing it because I know how hopeless a Hepatitis B diagnosis can feel, and because my before-and-after lab results are real. But please read the disclaimer at the end – this is my experience only.
In October 2018, routine blood work came back positive for Hepatitis B. The doctor explained the difference between acute and chronic, ordered more tests and recommended monitoring. I was devastated. I researched everything I could and started tracking my numbers every few months. About a month later I have found a forum post (lost the link) where someone was saying sauna helped curing his hepatitis b. I thought that’s convenient to try and anyway didn’t want to take any pills/medications.
I committed to doing it twice per week, roughly 20 minutes each session. That’s it. No extreme diet changes, no expensive supplements stacks, not a single pill – just consistency with those short sessions. Some weeks I felt unmotivated so I’ve skipped doing but overall 90% I was following the sauna routine.
After about a year I have ordered another blood results and this time the result tested Negative for Hepatitis B.
Five years later my doctor ordered a scan of my liver which results again confirmed no sign of liver cirrhosis and actually in normal parameters.
I went from living with constant worry about my liver to feeling free. If you’re dealing with Hepatitis B, I hope my story gives you hope and a reminder that sometimes small, consistent actions over time can lead to big changes.
